Castle Hedingham Bowls Club secures legacy for 100th anniversary

In 2024, Castle Hedingham Bowls Club in Essex marked its 100th anniversary, celebrating its vital role in the community. To support this milestone, the Hypercharged Foundation funded the construction of a new canopy roof for the clubhouse, addressing the challenges of its south-facing veranda. The roof provided much-needed shade and protection, ensuring a safer and more comfortable space.

The grand opening of the new roof was celebrated with the Chelsea Pensioners, adding a sense of history and prestige to the occasion.

More than just a sports venue, the club combats loneliness by offering a welcoming environment for residents. Beyond its April-to-September bowling season, the club hosts quiz nights, bingo and social events, fostering connections and community spirit all-year-round.

New Buckenham grows community spirit with Children’s Garden transformation

The Hypercharged Foundation is proud to have supported the construction of a brand-new children’s garden in the Norfolk village of New Buckenham. Situated at the Village Hall, the recreational plot aims to inspire an interest in wildlife and sustainability among young people and their families.

The community will gather at least twice per year to plant bulbs, carry out weeding and maintain the gardens, fostering collaboration and local pride.

The project creates a lasting legacy for the village, uniting residents to celebrate their heritage. With our dedicated support, the Hypercharged Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to empowering communities and enhancing shared spaces.

Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club hits a six with new pavilion roof

The Hypercharged Foundation is proud to have supported Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club in Norfolk with a new pavilion roof, enhancing a key community hub. Nestled in the picturesque Tas Valley, the club is among Norfolk’s largest by membership, growing steadily over the past decade through sustainable development and homegrown talent.

Serving a vibrant cricket community, the club hosts four Saturday teams, two women’s teams, a Sunday team, and U19s and over-40s representatives. The new roof provides essential shade and cover, complementing the restored pavilion while honouring its 145-year history.

More than a sports venue, the club unites people through cricket for all, promoting community spirit. The Hypercharged Foundation’s support ensures the pavilion remains a welcoming space for players and spectators alike, reinforcing the club’s commitment to accessible cricket for everyone.
